The CEO GLOBAL AWARDS will be holding as part of the activities at the African Ambassadors Economic Forum 2025.
Every year, the CEO GLOBAL AWARDS recognize organisations, individuals, investors including friends of Africa that have inspired excellence, innovation and through the same have been able to mobilise positive action in Africa and beyond, during the GIAA Gala Dinner.
The Awards Ceremony takes place as part of the major event scheduled alongside the Global initiative for Africa Forum & Awards but this time it shall happen during the African Ambassadors Economic Summit at Africa House on the 18th July, 2025, in Washington DC USA, in partnership with American Management University.
As part of this collaboration, the university will confer Honorary Doctorate Degree upon deserving candidates who meet the established professional and academic criteria for this prestigious recognition.
A nomination for the CEO GLOBAL AWARDS may be submitted by any person who meets the nomination criteria. The names of the nominees and other information about the nominations cannot be revealed. The award process is accomplished through a public call for nominations, followed by a two-step valuation process. See details below;
All nomination is first reviewed by an independent award screening Committee whose responsibility is to ensure that all nominations meets eligibility criteria using established assessment criteria. Then eligible nominee’s comprehensive list is generated and transmitted to the Award advisory committee for final vetting and confirmation.
The award advisory committee which is made of top technocrats, civil society groups and the Media with oversight supervision from the GIAA advisory board will then evaluate the nominations as provided by the independent award screening committee and finally recommend the award winners to the Central Management Team and the Governing board.
According to the statutes of the GIAA Foundation, a nomination is considered valid if it is submitted by a person who falls within one of the following categories:
