Global Initiative For Africa (GIAA)

GIAA is the prime global platform for Partnership, intervention and collaboration for African Entrepreneurs, CEOs, international investors, NGOs and policy makers.

The GIAA is a not for profit organisation and a product of strategic collaborations committed to the advancement of Africa through knowledge sharing, innovation promotion and technology advancement. It plays host to an annual conference tagged:

“Global initiative for Africa forum”, that brings together leading international Speakers, CEOs, entrepreneurs/captains of industries, Policy Makers, intending investors in different sectors of the African economy; development partners dedicated to both private and public sectors in Africa, and hosts the continent’s top CEOs, international investors, experts and high-level policy makers annually under one roof for the sole purpose of encouraging responsible leadership, promoting partnership and encouraging fair trade between Africa and the rest of the world.

Because of our unique spread, the GIAA has an incomparable capacity to mobilize quality audience, offer trailblazing content and attract international media coverage. GIAA is committed to unlocking Africa’s economic potential by championing private and public sector-led growth, leading discussions around transformational leadership, innovation, public policies and sustainable business models adapted for Africa but fits perfectly with the rest of the world.

GIAA has a diverse high-profile professionals in its advisory board, governing board and a well-structured management team that serves as a guarantee for its independence, objectivity, impartiality and its professionalism.

GIAA derives its impetus from the league of professionals and highly influential achievers in its governing board and management team which helps to steer the leadership of the foundation in the right direction.

The governing board is made up of exceptional achievers, Top professionals and political office holders who are very successful in their career and have become reference points for exceptional excellence and integrity. 

Members of the advisory board are individuals with venerable and senior experience in governments, the private sector and, or civil society, as well as in many cases understanding and expertise on trade, entrepreneurship, leadership, policy and governance around the world.

GIAA has one central President tenured bi-annually and several Regional Vice Presidents, and country representatives from all 54 African countries together with the central management teams whose responsibility is to run the day-to-day activities of the foundation. The Vice Presidents are chosen from former senior political figures, Top Business Executives or influential media personalities even though they do not have administrative governance responsibilities, but they play strategic roles in assisting the president and the Management team in a number of important ways at a senior influential and representational levels.
