MS. Mabedi Ngwenya is a distinguished career diplomat currently serving as the Acting Ambassador of the Republic of Botswana to the United States of America. In this role, she leads efforts to strengthen diplomatic, economic, trade, investment, tourism, educational, and cultural relations between Botswana and the United States, while promoting Botswana’s interests within the Embassy’s area of accreditation.

With over two decades of experience in diplomacy and international affairs, Ambassador Ngwenya has earned recognition for her professionalism, strategic leadership, and commitment to fostering bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Her work reflects Botswana’s core values of democracy, good governance, sustainable development, and international partnership.
